MIVARF’s overall goal is to reduce rural poverty and accelerate economic growth on sustainable basis by enhancing incomes and food security. To reach this goal, MIVARF promotes access to finance for rural communities. Therefore MIVARF supports SEDIT to strengthen VICOBA groups for promoting financial services to the grassroots communities in rural areas. This support builds on and strengthens what has been performed under previous projects, as well reach new areas within the community. A total of 3800 VICOBA groups are benefiting from training of Community Based Trainers retrained through this project.
