Financial inclusion programmes covers access to financial services i.e. savings, credit and insurance as well as financial literacy. The 2017, Finscope (FSDT) financial access survey shows over 40% of Tanzanian adults do not have access to financial services in Tanzania, this is one of the main bottlenecks to rural development.
