The Universal Well-being Economy Initiative (U-WE) aims to influence economic and financial institutions and to inspire governments, business and the third sector to invest in recovery and growth practices that will improve personal, economic, social, and environmental well-being for all in the WHO European Region. It was launched by WHO/Europe through the recently established New Economics Expert Group (NEEG) and the WHO European Office for Investment for Health and Development based in Venice, Italy. ?A well-being economy means putting people?s quality of life and their well-being at the heart of economic recovery.
